B&W Cleaner Application

Here are a few reminders for this test:

  1. Rotate, Crop, and Resize the pages in the folders.
  2. Set the images to Grayscale. Do this before you do any leveling.
  3. The standard height for your outputs must be 1200px (width set to auto adjust).
  4. Duplicate the raws. Do not edit the raws directly.
  5. All text must be cleaned out. This means sfx, bubble text, bg texts, etc.
  6. Redraw as much as you can.

There are also a few questions you'll have to answer, please include it in your e-mail application.

1. Why would you like to join LOLScans? (Tell us a bit about yourself; the kind of mangas you are interested in, how you found our group, and if you're in another scanlation group.)

2. Will you be able to keep a weekly agenda?

3. Email us your test: lolscanlation[at]gmail.com

Here is the test:

hi, i don't have access to photoshop so I can only use paint.net to edit the raw scans. Is this okay?

is it able to save as .psd?

you can use gimp as long as you export it to .psd when saving. gimp is free so it's definitely alright!
